AP Chambers held a vibrant curtain-raiser on July 3, 2025, to kick off nominations for the Business Excellence Awards 2025 — recognizing innovation, leadership, and social impact across Andhra Pradesh’s business ecosystem.

Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (AP Chambers) organised a curtain-raiser for AP Chambers Business Excellence Awards 2025 here on Thursday in the presence of Housing and I&PR Minister Kolusu Parthsarathy and Mines and Geology Minister Kollu Ravindra.

Parthasarathy unveiled the audio visual (AV) for the AP Chambers' awards while Ravindra released the awards brochure. Dr. G. Lakshmisha, District Collector, unveiled the logo for the awards.
In their speeches, they applauded AP Chambers for launching the awards and said that the initiative will help recognise outstanding enterprises/entrepreneurs in Andhra Pradesh and also
inspire upcoming entrepreneurs to strive for excellence.
Speaking on the occasion AP Chambers president Potluri Bhaskara Rao said, “After the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, there is no exclusive business awards event to recognise and reward entrepreneurs from the State. In view of this, AP Chambers has instituted AP Chambers Business excellence Awards 2025, a prestigious event recognising and celebrating excellence, innovation, and entrepreneurship across State’s vibrant business landscape."
The awards are aimed at honouring outstanding contributions in diverse categories such as MSME, large industries, startups, exports, food processing, tourism & hospitality, textiles, automobiles, logistics, infrastructure & real estate, circular economy, CSR, and women entrepreneurship.
“There is a separate category for life-time achievement, which will be conferred upon an outstanding entrepreneur who has demonstrated sustained entrepreneurial success and has had a significant long term impact on the industry & society,” he stated.
AP Chambers general secretary B. Raja Sekhar stated that the winners will be felicitated at a grand gala ceremony on August 30 in Vijayawada.
